The card cooperation between Nordea and Finnair ended in October 2023
We stopped issuing new Finnair Plus Mastercards on 1 January 2023, and Finnair Plus points have no longer been accumulated for purchases paid with the card’s credit facility after 31 October 2023.
However, you can continue to use the card as a charge card and credit card. The credit limit will remain unchanged and the insurance benefits provided by your card will remain valid.
Due to these changes, you won’t be charged an annual fee for your card for the time being. You will pay no annual fee for your Finnair Plus Mastercard as of September 2023 for upcoming annual periods (normal annual fee is 60 euros).
We will apply the following amendments to the Terms of the Finnair Plus Mastercard credit account as of 1 November 2023:
- We will remove the text concerning the accumulation of points in clause 1 Definitions.
- We will remove the first paragraph concerning the accumulation of points in clause 10 Accumulation of Finnair Plus points.
You can read more about the effects of these changes on existing Finnair Plus Mastercards here.
